A skid steer trencher cuts a narrow, clean slot for poly pipe, cable and drainage far faster than a bucket, and in Perth sand the slot stays open long enough to lay the pipe. Reticulation, NBN conduit, power to a shed and ag-drains are the usual jobs.
How to choose
- RS04, RS06/RS07 and RS10/RS20 versions with matching chain widths
- Depth and width options; 300 mm deep by 100 mm wide suits poly, deeper for power and stormwater
- High-flow attachment
Tip
Trench in a straight line from the far end back toward the machine's exit so you never track over the open slot.
